Role

UI/UX Design – Website Redesign for a Compliance SaaS

Context

CertiCraft is a B2B SaaS platform that helps cannabis cultivators in Canada stay compliant with Health Canada’s strict regulations.

The original site lacked clarity and emotional connection, but the team needed to preserve compliance credibility.

My design direction needed to soften the technical language, make actions more intuitive, and present information in a modular way that worked in HubSpot, all while honoring the complexity of the industry.

Approach

Tools: Figma, Hubspot, Clickup, Slack.

Process

Audit & discovery

  • Reviewed the site’s navigation, messaging, and competitor positioning

  • Identified friction points, especially for first-time visitors and non-technical users

Content & structure

  • Proposed a simplified site map and flow updates for Home, About, Product, and Pricing pages

  • Designed a visual system built on flexible modules: testimonials, CTAs, pricing cards, and content blocks

Design & collaboration

  • Built mid–high fidelity Figma files for team review

  • Provided detailed component specs with notes for HubSpot implementation

  • Presented concepts to the founder and team, receiving collaborative feedback

Key Take Aways

This project was a valuable reminder that good design work isn’t always about implementation, sometimes it’s about contributing ideas that shape direction, even indirectly. I’m proud of the clarity, care, and thought I brought to CertiCraft’s vision, and I walked away with deeper experience in modular thinking, stakeholder collaboration, and designing for highly specific user contexts.
